My favorite is “Walang Hanggang Paalam”. I find some lyrics a little absurd yet very meaningful and.. ‘tagos sa puso’.
Ang pagibig natin ay
walang hanggang paalam
at habang magkalayo
papalapit pa rin ang puso
kahit na magkahiwalay
tayo ay magkasama
sa magkabilang dulo ng mundo
I just love hearing my papa sing this.
My all time favorite is “karaniwang tao”. The resopnsibility of every man especially ordinary man has been stressed here. That I guess struck me most since this song reminded us on the role we should have on our environment.
“Walang Hanggang
Paalam”
for my father…
“”PANGANAY NG UMAGA”
and “BANKEROHAN”
I do not quite memorized the lyrics but I can not forget it is always sung my father along with his guitar ..
we are from buhangin Davao and its just too close to “bankerohan” so that’s why I definitely can not forget the songs bankerohan, but since I’m married I live here in Manila ug gimingaw na jud kaayo nako ang akong papa nga mokanta ug ing-aning kanta..
I like Walang hanggang paalam and Karaniwang tao “)
“WALANG HANGGANG PAALAM” MY FATHER’S FAVORITE SONG.I DON’T KNOW THIS SONG BEFORE BUT MY FATHER ALWAYS SING AND HYMN THIS ALONE AND THIS SONG IS HIS ALL TIME FAVORITE TO SING IN VIDEOKE,, SOMETIME I JUST NOTICE MYSELF HUMMING THIS SONG AS MY FATHER DID (AHIHI..;)
OHH HE USED TO SING THIS SONG TO HIS APO,MY BABY LOVE TO HEAR HIS LOLO’S SONG’S AND HE SLEPT EASILY!=)
My favorite song is Dumaan Ako. The lyrics are actually Maningning Miclat’s poem to a lover before she took her life in September 2000. Thus, Miclat wrote:
Kaya kong maghintay sa mga tula mo
makinig sa awit mula sa kabilang dako
At sa paglalakad sa lilim ng mga puno
matutuklasan ang laman ng pusong malayo
Miclat’s death left her fellow writers and painters shocked. She was just too beautiful and talented to die such a horrible death (she jumped out from the 7th floor window in FEU where she was teaching). In her tribute, Joey Ayala made her poem into a song. Joey’s sister, Cynthia Alexander also has her own rendition of Dumaan Ako.
Emotional, nostalgic and bittersweet. Miclat is eternalized by the song Dumaan Ako. And Joey Ayala will be forever remembered with his exceptional musical prowess and loving heart.♥
I love the song “Karaniwang tao”
Reminds me of my social and environmental responsibilities
Magkaugnay
My favorite Joey Ayala song is “Magkaugnay”. There are a few moments I get stunted for words and listening to Joey Ayala’s live rendition of “Magkaugnay” at Conspiracy bar several years back was one of them. I’ve listened to this song at alarmingly frequent intervals eversince. It’s blissful weave of luntang and cymbals is just heaven to my ears. And then I was smitten by the lyrics. At its core, “Magkaugnay” evokes a strong message about social and environmental responsibility.
As what I always tell my friends, So many people play so good but they cannot tell stories. Joey Ayala is a storyteller and a damn good one. “Magkaugnay” is one of his essential stories.
One of my favorite song is “Magkakaugnay”
… ang lahat ng bagay ay magkakaugnay… hihihii
“Walang Hanggang Paalam”…and i am dedicating this to my papa…love you, pa…
definitely…WALANG HANGGANG PAALAM
WALANG HANGGANG PAALAM…
Karaniwang Tao and Walang Hanggang Paalam
Karaniwang Tao
“What is your favorite Joey Ayala song?“
Karaniwang Tao or Magkaugnay for me
Karaniwang Tao
Kagaya ni “emilia at ni “ia adam-lim”, nagustuhan ko rin po ang kantang “Karaniwang Tao.”
Sana’y dumami pa ang mga mapasaya sa pamamagitan ng mga kanta. :D
“What is your favorite Joey Ayala song?“
Magkaugnay –
Ang lahat ng bagay ay magkaugnay
Magkaugnay ang lahat
THis lyrics means a lot and it depicts life at it is
favorite Joey Ayala song is Karaniwang Tao
My favorite Joey Ayala song is Walang Hanggang Paalam. :)
I like Joey Ayala song is Walang Hanggang Paalam..:)
My favorite song is Karaniwang Tao. I felt the reflection of our existence and how we must fight global warning, for those who will fight and support our green advocacy.
