Wondering who the hottest cosplayers are? I’m about to list 10 of the hottest cosplays in the Philippines. Help me expand the list!

1. Jia Bustamante as KOS-MOS
Number 1 in our hotties list is the winner of the recently-concluded Asian Cosplay Meet (ACM) held in Singapore. She’s 13-year old Jia Bustamate. She is a newcomer to cosplaying having started last November 2009. She portrayed KOS-MOS from Xenosaga.
KOS-MOS’s body is made of nano machines allowing parts of it to morph into weapons. Hence, the big gun. Jia’s portrayal of KOS-MOS won her the first prize in the first Asian Cosplay Meet. Jia has an inert cosplay vibe in her. Look at the intensity in the eyes. Reminds me of KOS-MOS’s badass weapons and technology.
2. Misa Amane
My No. 2 is a cosplay legend, Aloida Gosiengfiao as Misa Amane of Death Note.
She’s a natural and a veteran cosplayer having portrayed several characters from different animes and games. She doesn’t have to act like Misa to embody the character’s cuteness and innocence. Notice the picture and how she holds onto the notebook.
3. Witchblade
The other Gosiengfao is no different, she’s also a hottie cosplayer. Meet Ashley Gosiengfao, another cosplay legend!
Look at that blade. Wicked! The shot is awesome. What’s great about this picture is the highlight on the blade as much as on the character.
Never was a fan of Witchblade and I didn’t know there was a blue version. Again, my knowledge of this blue witchblade is limited to what Google suggests and some websites with high PR.
4. Zhel Guiral Tender Shall
It’s the headgear, the eyes, the skin, the pose. No it’s everything! The look alone will remind you Tender Shall – serene and elegant. And the lighting, of course, which highlighted her already-awesome costume.
The model is Zhel Guiral and she’s from Davao. Sorry guys. Information is limited and we have to respect the model’s privacy.

5. Yukiko Akai as Suigintou
This is one of my favorites. Minus the flashy floating fabric of Suigintuo’s dress. It’s a grown-up Suigintuo. Cute will be an understatement, she’s amazingly hot. And her cunning smile is priceless.
*I don’t know who the model is. But if you do, please drop some lines. The name would suffice. She is said to be the winner of some cosplay event in Cebu. She should win!
6. Jin Joson as Naruto
I’ve heard her name before from a friend but my spelling of the name was “Jean Yuson.” Thanks to commenter Cristine.
Our 6th Hottest is Jin Joson (www.jinjoson.com). If you use the word “hot” + “anime” there’s no doubt you’ll get NARUTO. Looking through different cosplayed characters, Ms. Joson may be the only hottie in here to have worn a male character costume.

7. Jessica Ouano as Oerba Dia Vanille
I wowed when I saw her DeviantArt page filled with different characters. I picked Vanille because it’s a fantastic photo.
I’m not sure but I may have seen her at SM a few weeks or months back cosplaying Reimi from Star Ocean. (She has a picture as Reimi in her DeviantArt page.)

8. Stephanie ‘Nikki” Sumbe as a Rathalos Blade Master

Nikki is a member of cosplayer groups Minegarde Cosplayers and L.A.M.E. Cosplayers. Her Rathalos Female Blade Master costume has won her grand price for the Solo Cosplay category in the Hero Face Off 2010.
